RECORDING ARTIST TANNER MASSEY SET TO RELEASE FIRST INDEPENDENT ORIGINAL SINGLE “BREAK ME” ON JUNE 24th, 2022.
Los Angeles, California, 14 June 2022 – Recording artist Tanner Massey’s first independent original single “Break me” is set to release on June 24th, 2022 on all major platforms. The now 18-year-old Oklahoma City native has released multiple singles over the past 6 years and is working hard in (and out of) Los Angeles on his first album. ‘Break Me’ is a pop song that talks about overcoming situations or anxiety.
Tanner’s other projects include being part of an acapella kids group called Acapop! KIDS, which was co-founded by Scott Hoying of Pentatonix. The music video Tanner was co-featured in, which was a cover of “Shallow” has garnered over 15 million views, Acapop Kids highest liked and most viewed video. In addition, Tanner also joined the powerhouse of 1251 Ave (a music label) in 2021 on a one-year developmental deal partnered with UMG (Universal Music Group).
He joined Musicash Records for a year and released a single called ‘I Promise’ when he was only 15 years old.
Tanner has also sung for local opry houses such as the Rodeo Opry, Heartland Opry, and many more in and around Oklahoma including various festivals in Oklahoma. He has performed at the McSwain Theatre in Ada Oklahoma, where he was voted ‘Best under 16’ and won the title 2 years in a row in 2017 and 2019 at their Grand Awards Show. Tanner has sung the National Anthem for the Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Team and the minor league baseball team The Oklahoma City Dodgers, and even at for the Big 12 Championship College Baseball game in 2017.
